Ski Rider Hotel

We were very impressed with our recent stay for 5 nights. We are a family of five and we found ski rider to be great value for money. Location is great with a very easy trip up to the ski fields with the use of the ski rider bus or personal vehicle. It was so lovely to come back after a long day of skiing to a lovely buffet dinner where we could feed the kids with no hassle. The buffet breakfast also made our stay easy with kids. Rooms are comfortable and warm. Our children had the best time and the staff were all very friendly and made us feel so welcome. We would recommend this accomodation for families and we will try and come back.

Incredibly picturesque place, Extremely helpful and friendly staff. 15 min from perisher, 45 min from Thredbo, Location is damn near perfect. Food was really great. Locally supplied, the meals are really good. Great quality food. Definately Use the 14 -50 room. Grill your own top quality steak (Wagyu T-Bone at least 400g) on some $200k commercial grill. only to have a bar 10 meters away with fresh cocktails and a very impressive selection of scotch. Kinda wish I drank alot more. Really nice wine too. Family friendly, I had 4 kids there and not one staff member tried to kill one. Even when I was trying to. (I'm kidding) Room was really warm and comfortable, Amazing heating. And the WiFi was actually pretty damn good considering we were 1700m above sea level. Would 100% reccomend, Honestly blown away by this place. Exactly what you need for a damn good holiday. Really Impressed. See you next year (Sorry)

Fantastic value for money accommodation with the best breakfast and dinner buffet we have experienced at Perisher. The buffet caters for every food intolerance and our gluten free son and vegetarian husband were spoilt for choice. Rooms are cosy and warm although they are on the small side for families. Great ski hire service on site too.

Good basic rooms with ski/clothing rack near heater. Beds are comfy. Food is great! Only ate at the grill restaurant for dinner-steaks are large and good quality. Salads nice and fresh. Good bar. Nightly live entertainment. Breakfast was also good with a few options. Shuttle bus is very convenient! All in all enjoyed our stay! Thank you ski rider!

Great value for money and really close to the ski fields. Cozy rooms, free guest shuttle up to the ski fields in coaches which are brand new. Good hearty breakfast included with hot and cold selection. Dinner - you have a choice of a hot buffet (meat options, hot veggies) with soup, bread, salad and desert or cook your own steak in the front bar, with salad, local baked bread, corn and green veg. There are also 2 bars on site, the front bar has a the standard drink selection plus some cocktails and mulled wine (Gluhwein). Post dinner you can settle in with drinks in front of the log fire, watch movies in the lounge area or play board/card games. Entertainment was ok - Weekend we stayed there the lodge had a band and a great acoustic duo playing funky covers. Great for families, but also fab for couples and groups. Highly recommend, the owners Ron and Sue Deane are a lovely couple and great hosts.
